Overview

The Asset Management department comprises Station Asset Management, Commercial Properties and Retail Leasing and Projects.

Station Asset Management

The Station Asset Management team is responsible for the safe and efficient management of all property assets within the station premises. We manage and deliver a major inspection, maintenance and renewals programme designed to meet our regulatory targets, (Station Stewardship Measure) set by the Office of the Rail Regulator (ORR), which supports our performance measures.

Commercial Properties and Retail Leasing

The Commercial Property team is responsible for all aspects of Greater Anglia's commercially let portfolio.

Key responsibilities include identifying potential commercial/retail opportunities to improve the passenger experience, marketing and letting vacant properties. The team also ensures that Greater Anglia and its tenants comply with the terms of the lease.

The team also looks after the NCP managed car park portfolio and commercial advertising on the stations and trains.

Projects

The Delivery Team possesses a wide range of skills and extensive project management experience. We manage projects from 'cradle to grave', i.e. a basic concept through the design stage to final implementation and delivery. Whilst the delivery team undertake a wide range of project activities from the initial site investigation, feasibility studies to identify options and design, we also employ work in conjunction with suppliers and contractors to deliver construction works and also assist in our Major and Specialist projects. Our in-house team ensures we always achieve best value for money and by consistently testing the market, identify new and innovative solutions to save money and maximise return on investment.

In addition we are responsible for the Facility Management of all 167 Greater Anglia Stations; this includes management of the maintenance and faults that may occur at our stations and depots.
